Hi! I’m Ali Katz, founder of the Eyes Wide Open Collective, a portfolio of companies devoted to helping people make legal, insurance, financial, and tax decisions through a lens of awake awareness with tech and advisory to support. I’m writing a book on Money Dysmorphia and bringing forward a new model of financial planning to transform the world of advisory services, especially important as the rise of AI renders traditional advisors obsolete. I currently serve 700 lawyers nationwide using my Life & Legacy Planning model, and consider that a testing lab for what comes next. What lights me up most is flipping old systems of time, money, and investing on their head to build new economic models of resource allocation, designed to heal the extractive past and create a thriving, regenerative future for us all.

Ali Katz is the founder and CEO of the Eyes Wide Open Collective, an innovative portfolio of companies transforming how individuals, families, and entrepreneurs make legal, insurance, financial, and tax decisions. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where she earned her law degree first in her class, Ali began her career at the prestigious law firm Munger, Tolles & Olson, working on transactions for legendary investors like Warren Buffett.

After leaving big law, Ali launched her own successful law firm as a single mother, which became the proving ground for the work she leads today. Through the Collective’s companies — New Law Business Model, Personal Family Lawyer®, and LIFTed Advisors — Ali is building an ecosystem of cutting-edge advisory services and technologies designed to reshape how resources are stewarded and wealth is transitioned across generations.

Her Life & Legacy Planning methodology, a heart-centered and humanity-driven approach to estate planning, has already been adopted by over 700 lawyers nationwide licensed as Personal Family Lawyer® firm leaders. As the author of the forthcoming book Money Dysmorphia and the creator of the Financial Liberation framework, Ali is on a mission to shift financial systems away from extraction- and accumulation-based models and toward regenerative, multi-generational wealth management practices.
