How do you establish credibility as a new consultant without resorting to social posturing or over-selling yourself?

I’ve built and run my own business for several years and developed real, marketable skills in systems thinking and root cause analysis. Now I’m moving into consulting, but I want to build credibility based on results and integrity—not hype. What’s the best way to demonstrate expertise and earn trust when you’re still proving yourself in a new space?
