Fundraising

I'm looking for health care business angel investors for my startup. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look?

Almost everything health care related I see that has been funded on Crunchbase is by VC firms. I've also looked on Funded and Angel list.

Build a profitable business you love.

Start by triangulating all of your prospects (via Crunchbase, Angel List, and LinkedIn) with those angel and VC firms located in cities that do a lot of investing in the healthcare sector—e.g., San Francisco, Boulder, Nashville. Then, start connecting with founders/executives of those firms' portfolio companies and ask for intros.

Hi, I know Ron Weissman (his father co-founded Kaiser) is interested in health care. He is VP of Band of Angels and has been VC for 15 years.

Fundrx.comis a great place to start. They are focused on health care startups. If you'd like an introduction let me know.

Alumni venture group is another option. They are not healthcare focused, but do invest in healthcare.

Happy to schedule a call to discuss more and give some additional advice.

I'm a digital health founder in San Francisco. Most of my connections have come from local networking at startup health events and via accelerators. Other founders can be a good source for connections and information. Reach out. I'm happy to chat.
