Software Licensing
I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to select who to schedule calls with on Clarity. For instance, I have software (already built) that I have started building a brand around but to get traction more quickly, a lot of people have told me to consider licensing it instead. It was developed for use with the travel industry (specifically, the packaged travel/tourism side), however, it can be applied to other areas such as events or meetups. I have identified several Clarify experts that have the potential to give good insight, but am not sure whether it makes sense to start with someone who has successfully licensed software in the past or someone in the travel industry. Any suggestions?

I would say travel industry experts first. Based on what you have described, it sounds like you need to figure out what the market segment within the packaged travel/tourism industry that can benefit from your product. Then look at your competition in that market segment and see how they sell their product. Once you have a good understanding of these, you should then be able to figure out whether licensing is the right way to go or if there are other alternate models.
All the best.

Talk to TRAVEL dudes and then ask any remaining questions to business development/sales people here on Clarity. The truth is that you need to CLOSE DEALS. Focus on that.

Knows travel, airlines, travel hacking, airports.
I would thing you need both.
The travel person would help to steer you in the right direction as to who to contact to get the product in the hands of travelers and the licensing person would help to give you advice on who to contact and tips to avoid pitfalls.

Start-up, Corporate and everything in between.
I work pretty extensively with the product, packaging and bundling side of tourism at a large travel agent, so would be happy to have a call to at least provide you some insights into positioning it to the travel industry.
