I am the Founder & CEO of Emergi Mentors, Australia’s first mentorship marketplace bridging the gap between learning and employment in tech.
Bio
I’m Fassahat Ullah Qureshi, the Founder & CEO of Emergi Mentors, an Australian EdTech startup creating the first scalable mentorship marketplace that connects learners, mentors, universities, and enterprises to build job-ready tech talent.
With over a decade of experience in data engineering, analytics, and cloud technologies, I’ve worked across major Australian government and enterprise projects, focusing on Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. I’m also a Microsoft Certified Data Engineer and Analytics Professional and currently teach Data Science and Business Analytics at Swinburne University.
I started Emergi Mentors after realizing that many talented people struggle to transition into tech because of a lack of guidance, local experience, and real-world projects. At Emergi Mentors, we solve that problem by pairing learners with industry experts from top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Suncorp. Together, they work through structured, project-based programs that lead to real jobs.
Our platform also supports SMEs and universities through mentorship seat-packs and upskilling programs, helping Australia bridge its growing digital skills gap. My long-term goal is to make mentorship the default pathway to employability in Australia’s tech ecosystem.
