Do you believe dreams can give you answers?

I ask this question because I KNOW they do. But I'm curious to see how many people believe this is true. Tesla quote - My brain is only a receiver, in the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength and inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know that it exists. ~Nikola Tesla I personally know it's true after studying it for several years. Do you believe?

In their jumbled, fantastical way, dreams do give us an insight into what we ourselves are thinking about or (feeling our way along the contours of, in the dark).

Some psychologists hypothesize that dreams are simulations or rehearsals for situations we might encounter, and I understand that some research supports that idea. Sounds a bit improbable, given the far-fetched, nonlinear scenarios of most dreams. But if you spend a full day playing a video game, you might dream about it. And if you dream about it, then you might be better at playing it the next day. (That's my recollection of one such study.)

There are also anecdotes from mathematicians who reportedly dreamed solutions to conundrums that had baffled them by day.

Dreams are the inward expression of your outward desires. During your sleep you are totally relaxed so your mind is silently working on your desires. If you want a solution then you must focus to give a logic to your desire so that your desire becomes your NEED thus during your sleep your mind is working on how to get your need fulfilled and the solution is expressed through your dreams. I wish you all the best.

Dreams can't necessarily give you answers to life problems however they certainly do have a metaphorical way of analyzing your true thoughts and feelings. Dreams are based on brain function, if they could provide the meaning of life, we would ALL be truly living our best life instead of struggling with life trying to stay sane and happy.

Dreams have been shown to be your mind testing different scenarios to prepare you in real life. In other words dreams can show you both failures and successes. If you have trained yourself to remember dreams (I have done this and it makes nights so much more exciting!) you can use dreams to your advantage. Dream are a lot more powerful than people think and every night should be looked upon as an adventure.
