It depends on your target market (who is your audience), what country they are in, target demographic (older/younger, male/female, what state of mind are they in relation to your offer), product being sold and how the conversion funnel turns the user into a buyer (pure online conversion, phone-assisted?), how long does the sales funnel take on average to convert the user, etc.
With the answer to those questions we can sketch out the ideal time/day to send the drip campaign and then validate by testing
There are 2 levels to this answer:
1. Your technical sending infrastructure. This is a must have to get your emails even just delivered to the mailbox. This includes IP reputation/Senderscore, domain reputation, being on any whitellists or blacklists etc. You need to have this in order not to get blocked.
2. Your engagement metrics. OK your emails are getting delivered but are they making it to the inbox instead of the spam folder? This is about choosing the subject lines, email content, email format, send times and days that generates the most engagement (open rates, mostly). This will help your emails avoid the spam folder which in turn will reduce your likelihood of your emails being blocked in the first place
I would add video marketing. Videos are quick to record (don't need to be professional as long as the content is great) and once upload will get you visibility (literally) for the years to come. And of course, proof of results you achieved either for yourself or clients
