Depending on how much time, money, an energy you are putting into it will affect your options. For example you can collaborate with other blogs that have a similar audience. This is good for a quick boost in new customers. Let me know if you want to chat about other options based on your situation.

Sites like Upwork and great for just that. You can work on projects on your own or in groups and anyone can start whenever!

Establish your brand, team, and processes. There are plenty of dev shops out there so you have plenty of examples to follow. For example Thoughtbot has an open source playbook you can use to build your own company.

I am not a lawyer, and you should talk to a lawyer to get insight on your specific situation.

That being said, in my opinion it is fine to use an existing product/service as inspiration to create your own company. If you can do it better than competitors than congratulations! You will be successful!

The issues you are talking about are usually around similarities in patented tech, products, etc. For example, Apple has a lot of competitors, but there is a reason why none of them seem to build the same product with the same features at the same quality as Apple. They own a lot of the underlying tech. Hope that helps! Let me know if you want to go into more detail.

The best thing you can do is to brand yourself in terms that your target customers understand. People are open to trying new things if they know that by using that product they will get the end result they want. Let's hop on a call and I can go over how you can structure this based on your specific product.

It sounds like the issue is not knowing what your competitor's customers are searching for, but how to establish your own niche in a way that attracts more customers to you. Without any specific data on your business, it's hard to help you hone in on your brand message. If you want we can hop on a call and find out specifically what you need.

In general the highest converting direct messaging campaigns I have seen have very direct and simple messages. If you can achieve that with your target audience then you will see a good conversation rate.

If you have the right message and already have the contacts, then go for it!

Wordpress is widely enough used that you can do almost anything with it! You can manage others sites in terms of cheap hosting and managing their backend; manage Wordpress security; Wordpress specific consulting; create plugins that generate revenue; give talks on Wordpress; the list goes on and on!

If you become a Wordpress expert the sky is the limit!
