In 2021, I started my first bootstrapped business, Mac Shack. We failed after 2 years, but it taught me the hardest lesson in entrepreneurship: the cost of isolation.

Looking at my portfolio of 65+ startup investments for what to do next, I noticed a recurring problem: The magic stopped the moment the raise ended.

Founders were left with a spreadsheet of new investors and no playbook—leaving a massive asset of skills, feedback, and advocacy untapped.

I started consulting my portfolio companies on how to activate these investors. We unlocked massive opportunities, but I also found the bottleneck: the friction between the Need of the business and the Ask for support.

That's why I'm building "thru."
