Hi there, I'm Jay and I'm a Software Engineer.

I immigrated to the US since I was little, and I speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. I know the struggles of learning a foreign language from the ground up. I understand what it's like not knowing English and got bullied by kids in school.

As a software developer who loves talking to people, I don't enjoy sitting in front of my laptop all day. I like to go out and meet people from various backgrounds. I've met so many people who don't even speak English. I know how it feels when not knowing a foreign language prevents you from getting that dream job, or moving up the social ladder. Daily activities are filled with challenges when you can't communicate or understand the language.

I believe language apps out there are not doing a good job, since I know so many suffering souls. My dream is to learn Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian, French, German, or any foreign language to a level as good as native speaker. our goal as a startup is to make this your dream too and help you fulfill it! We want to help you pick up any foreign language with minimal study time but maximum effectiveness.

we are building an AI-powered application on the Web, iOS, and Android that teaches over 100 different foreign languages. We have a wide range of possible target audiences. But our primary target audience are immigrants ranging from their 20s to 80s who are working full time, with very little time and below-average memory. We believe we have an effective strategy to teach our users a new foreign language, from knowing nothing to fluent in daily conversation in 6 months, in areas of Reading, Speaking, Listening.
