30 years of leading teams and transformational projects in wealth management. I recently founded OptEngage, Inc, an AI-powered engagement tool for RIAs & advisory firms. It’s a single destination for client & prospect engagement issues, priorities & opportunities. It provides authenticity at scale, creating time and meaningful conversations that are the cornerstone of trust and relationships in our industry. Organic asset & revenue growth is the result.
I started my career as a financial advisor in mid-late 90’s before spending 23 years at Morgan Stanley. Amongst various special projects, I helped restructure and grow Wealth Management Equity Sales, and managed Capital Markets Syndicate through its heyday - leading its largest ever deal placements, integrations and platform developments. In my last 4 years there, I stood up the business, field and legal/risk/compliance orgs for the AI-based platform’s digital content assets.
As I look back, I appreciate the varied experience that has made me solutions-minded & well-rounded. Colleagues would say I’m known best for being cool-headed, bringing focused enthusiasm, impeccable ethics and grit. I say what motivates me most are the challenges that are transformative, learning together in a highly collaborative environment, and inspiring others to do their best work.
As I look forward, I’m incredibly excited about technology’s capability to empower an authentic human connection.
On personal time, I enjoy organizing trips for family & friends, reading voraciously, volunteering for humans & the planet, and snowboarding off the highest peaks I can find.
