Bio
Michael Maxin is a nationally recognized Internet entrepreneur, healthcare innovator, and passionate advocate for improving the lives of children, students, and families through technology. As Founder and CEO of Clinical Platform Inc., Michael leads the development of mission-driven digital health and education platforms, including GreenRibbonLibrary.com and PediatricCancerLibrary.com, which provide accessible mental health education, patient resources, and clinical trial awareness to communities across the United States.
With more than 25 years of experience in Internet marketing, digital media, business development, and healthcare technology, Michael has built a reputation as one of the early pioneers of online marketing and digital education. Throughout his career, he has bought and sold more than $1 billion in online advertising and helped shape the digital strategies of some of the world’s most recognized brands. He served as President and COO of VersaCom LLC, one of the earliest successful Internet marketing companies, and later as Director of Business Development and Advertising for Prodigy Internet, where he played an instrumental role in the company’s acquisition by AT&T.
A proven entrepreneur, Michael has launched multiple technology startups, achieved successful exits, and participated in six Internet ventures that collectively raised more than $50 million in venture capital. His passion for innovation led him into healthcare, where he served as Director of Internet Marketing for St. Jude Medical. There, he created HeartLibrary.com, a groundbreaking patient education video platform that reached more than 10 million patients and became a benchmark for digital patient engagement.
Building on that success, Michael founded Clinical Platform with a mission to improve health outcomes through education and technology. PediatricCancerLibrary.com was developed in collaboration with physicians and healthcare leaders to provide families facing childhood cancer with trusted educational resources and greater awareness of clinical trial opportunities. The platform has helped bridge the gap between complex medical information and the families who need it most.
In 2020, Michael launched Green Ribbon Library, a first-of-its-kind video-based mental health platform created specifically for students, schools, parents, and educators. Featuring medically reviewed content developed by pediatricians, therapists, and mental health professionals, the platform helps students navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, substance abuse, social media pressures, and resilience. Today, Green Ribbon Library serves hundreds of thousands of students and continues to expand its impact nationwide.
A Telly Award-winning television producer, accomplished business leader, and dedicated father, Michael remains focused on leveraging technology to solve meaningful problems. His work is driven by a simple belief: that every student, patient, and family deserves access to trusted information, emotional support, and the resources needed to make informed decisions. Through Clinical Platform, Michael continues to build innovative solutions that improve mental health, advance patient education, and create lasting social impact for future generations.
