Stacy is an accomplished C-Suite executive & industry innovator, now building enViibe - an Agentic AI discovery platform w/video TV “Guides” to help entertainment & podcasting fans find their personal favorites in a sea of hundreds of thousands of choices. Business Focus: Forge strategic partnerships internally & externally, build world-class teams & superior brands to drive revenue by collaborating with all operational verticals. His work at the nexus of technology, marketing, finance, & media, reflects his global management successes in Silicon Valley, Hollywood & Madison Ave. Recognized for developing transformative new digital, streaming, AI, mobile, TV & social businesses, Jolna has earned top digital media honors including Ad Age’s “Marketing 100,” “i20 leadership” & the advertising Cannes Lion Award. His TV accolades include the Peabody award & multiple Emmys.

At a time of transformative change across all industries, Jolna solves complex business problems by working across operational verticals: finance, technology, production, sales, & marketing – as well as involving major distribution and brand clients. Innovative business/technology examples:

• Industry Foe to Friend: At TiVo, as media executives nationwide fretted over their razor thin profits due to a new technology which enabled consumers to skip ads & watch what they chose on-demand, CMO/Executive Team Founder Jolna embraced the industries’ leaders to invest in the future of his company (nearly all did, resulting in a $1Billion market cap & successful IPO). He created new ways to reduce the cost of promotions, increase ad revenues, up engagement & next day/week viewer measurement, as well as give media companies & brands from Coca Cola to Lexus to SONY, NBCU & Showtime seats at the tech boardroom table (many joined). He persuaded CAA to join forces with TiVo in a product giveaway to the agency’s top celebrity clients, who touted TiVo’s merits on-air (Letterman, Howard Stern, Sex & the City).

• Reinventing TV Guide: At News Corp’s TV Guide, a stale brand with declining consumer value, Jolna focused on selling the 1st short-form, tech-driven video guidance across digital/streaming platforms. Working w/production, tech, marketing & sales teams, Jolna developed new solutions for consumers, advertisers, & media distributers including Comcast & DirectTV to drive adoption of TV Guide SPOT. Best Buys showcased it on new TV ‘s in retail. Jolna negotiated a major upfront launch investment by Top Ad agency Starcom. And Wall Street accelerated the company’s multi-million valuation.

• Transforming CNN’s Breaking News Mission: The news networks were hemorrhaging red ink & required new ideas to drive revenue & ratings beyond news peaks. SVP Jolna collaborated w/Ad & Affiliate sales, marketing, engineering, production & finance to create award-winning, multi-revenue stream productions that could be carved into monetizable prime-time documentaries, specials, & multi-part short-series. Today, he would add mobile, Generative AI, streaming, ecomm & podcasting for cross platform monetization.

Key Professional Highlights:

• TiVo: Founding Executive Team Chief Marketing Officer - Built an iconic national brand & forged investment deals with nearly every major media company (NBCU, CBS, Disney, Viacom, Showtime, Sony Pictures, AOL/Turner Networks, CAA, Comcast, Discovery, Advanced Newhouse) – a prelude a successful IPO & $1Billion Market Cap on Nasdaq working with Allen & Company bankers. Jolna also collaborated with Nielsen to create an innovative new audience measurement system that has extended viewership to include recorded programs as well as driving development of the 1st TiVo interactive TV ads & promos – all helping to offset the industry’s business concerns about negatively impacting revenues via DVR consumer ad-skipping. Jolna recruited to the TiVo Board from NBC, David Zaslav (Now CEO of WBDiscovery), Discovery Communications Founder/CEO Jon Hendricks, SONY Pictures CEO Howard Stringer.
• News Corp/TV Guide Group: GM/Senior Vice President - Recruited to build-from-scratch & manage an advanced technology, cross-platform video guidance business TV Guide SPOT. Jolna pitched his new business to TV Guide board members Murdoch, Peter Chernin (News Corp COO, now Chairman of the Chernin Group), CEO Jeff Shell (who went on to become Chairman of Universal & Chairman of NBCU and President of ParamountSkydance). Jolna grew SPOT from concept to $650 million valuation prior to the public company’s $2.7 Billion sale to enable News Corp Chairman Rupert Murdoch to buy Dow Jones/WS Journal.

• CNN/Time-Warner: Sr. Vice President/Sr. Executive Producer - Working closely with Ad Sales, Jolna built the award-winning CNN Special Reports team (in-depth documentaries, investigations & specials) to a higher CPM revenue tune-in to bridge breaking news peaks in viewership. Jolna worked closely with owner Ted Turner on global programming concepts, resulting in higher “specials” revenue across the Turner Networks. His team launched the magazine show “CNN Presents,” and collaborated with Time editors to reveal the “Time Person of the Year” on CNN for over a decade.

• Clix Founder & Chief Marketing Officer: L.A./New York
