Our SMARTHEADSYSTEM (SHS) measures head impact, head rotation and environmental temperatures around a persons head. This can be viewed real-time with a corresponding application, and/or stored for review at a later time. The sensor itself is mounted in headgear or can be worn inside a headband and is slightly larger around than a quarter and about 5 quarters thick. The information the SHS provides can be used to better understand the impact a person's head has experienced at a specific time, and also allows for the cumulative events over any time period. This information can be stored and shared with medical personnel in an attempt to better treat head trauma.
