Bio
With deep experience in highly-regulated products, Kate O'Connor-Masse is the co-founder and CEO of BatchNav, Inc., a SaaS company built from the ground up to finally solve one of the biggest problems in cannabis: Growers and processors don't know their actual costs, and it's costing the industry billions.
During 13 years in legal cannabis, Kate and co-founders, Mike O'Connor-Masse and Clark Charlton have seen firsthand the impact of not knowing actual costs in cultivation and the process lab. They have built a proprietary platform that delivers manufacturing intelligence with full costing, not just inventory tracking.
Prior to BatchNav, Kate had retired from a successful career in pharmaceuticals, biologics and medical devices, specializing in reimbursement strategy for breakthrough products. She held numerous leadership and advisory roles in US and international companies ranging from start-up to Fortune 50. With Mike, she also managed a commercial vegetable farm and a separate farmers cooperative. The marriage of agriculture and regulated products gives her a unique perspective that benefits BatchNav and its customers.
