AuthorityGate's core product is KeyStone, a kernel-level change validation protocol that intercepts and validates every production system change in real time. When a vendor update, a patch, or a machine-initiated change fails expected-outcome validation, KeyStone blocks it before it reaches production. Kevin calls this Validation Authority, a new category that sits ahead of recovery rather than competing with it. The CrowdStrike outage of July 2024, which grounded airlines and froze hospitals worldwide, is the clearest proof of the gap KeyStone closes. Recovery vendors restore you after the failure. The urgency behind this work is the rise of agentic AI. As autonomous systems begin making changes at machine speed, the human-paced governance models that enterprises rely on break down. Kevin's thesis is direct. You cannot govern machine-speed change with human-speed review. KeyStone provides the enforcement layer that lets organizations augment human judgment with automated, policy-driven validation, closing the governance paradox that agentic AI creates.
