Frances T. Nevarez is a three-time founder with over 20 years of experience in business management, organizational development, and training for companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500s. She was the Founder and President of //PowerUP!, where she designed and delivered award-winning training programs for Hewlett-Packard, AT&T, BIO-RAD, Progressive Insurance, and PeopleSoft, earning “Provider of Choice” status with Hewlett-Packard for 19 years. //PowerUP! partnered with ERG and Motorola to create and deploy all training for the $1.6B TransLink Project, enabling smart card travel across 26 Northern California transit systems. Following the strategic sale of part of //PowerUP! during a personal transition, Frances launched and grew a second company that is currently in the process of being sold. Today, she is the Cofounder & CEO of FutbolConnect, her third company, where she combines her 10+ years of experience in the business of futbol with her deep expertise in building scalable businesses. She has served as Chair as well as Senior Level Executive positions on various Boards and Associations both locally and nationally. Ms. Nevarez was ranked in the Top 100 of the most influential Hispanic Leaders in Hispanic Magazine. She holds a California Teaching Credential (SDS) from the University of California at Berkeley, B.S. in Business Management with a minor in Organizational Development from San Jose State University coupled with a Business Management Certificate from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
