Professional life started as an editor for and early IDG publication Digital Audio magazine in 1987, launching this English/Philosophy major into the world of technology, copywriting and marketing. Once I started having children my copywriting career took off writing about software startup -- many that are now the giants that dominate the tech world now. My role segued into larger marketing roles, again for pioneering startups working for some incredible minds and visionary entrepreneurs -- a seemingly recurring theme I my career early on. I conceived the idea for giveBeauty in 1999 to solve my own issues with gift giving, and launched its first iteration in 2004, but shelved it in 2007 when technology issues proved to be insurmountable. So it was back to work as a director for OSF Global as Managing Director of one its divisions. In 2013 I started multiMind Media, a design/development/branding agency with the purpose of building my own team to rebuild giveBeauty while supporting it with projects. Fast forward to 2024 as we slide giveBeauty development in between our other work to begin rebuilding it better, faster, stronger ( a quote form an old TV series opener, the Six Million Dollar Man).
