About Paul
Paul is a U.S. Air Force Gulf War veteran and former F-16 jet mechanic whose career has moved across military aviation, graphic design, augmented reality, experiential technology, process improvement, high-volume digital printing, project management, and entrepreneurship. While that path may look unconventional on paper, the pattern underneath it has stayed consistent: he studies complex systems, finds what is broken or missing, and builds practical solutions that improve how people, processes, and technology work together.
His track record includes authoring a U.S. Census workflow SOP that increased production by 400–500%, contributing to a world-record HP Indigo commercial production run, and helping build augmented-reality learning tools that empowered students to create interactive virtual tours. Across each chapter of his work, Paul has shown the same core ability: entering unfamiliar or underperforming systems, learning them deeply, identifying root causes, and turning insight into measurable results.
Project Lighthouse grew from Paul’s own frustration with being flattened by traditional hiring tools. He saw firsthand how résumés and keyword filters can miss the real pattern of a person’s capability, especially when that person’s value crosses industries, roles, and categories. Instead of treating that as a personal inconvenience, he turned it into a larger systems problem worth solving.
