I have 20+ years of experience in the construction and construction-related service industries. Many of those in management and executive roles where I was responsible for overseeing the hiring of skilled tradespeople. Over the years, it has become harder to find and attract quality people to the trades. Our tradespeople are vital. They keep our infrastructure up and running. I jumped out of my (responsible) job to start Real Work to build a career management platform focused on the trades, to help support the industry now and into the future.

Encouraging workers to expand their toolkit of certifications and licenses, to better support the industry and increase their earning potential.
