Wild West Domains: CNAME Record Instructions

Creating a CNAME Record is required for your hosted Landing Page.

1. Log in to your Account Manager

2. Next to Domains, click Launch

3. Click the domain you want to edit
4. In the DNS Manager section, click Launch
5. Select the Zone File Editor for the Domain you want to manage
6. Click Add New Record
7. From the Record type list, select CNAME (Alias)

8. In Alias Name: enter the subdomain you set for your LaunchRock URL

9. if you chose signup.yourdomain.com enter: signup

10. In Points to Host Name: enter host.launchrock.com

11. TTL: leave as default
12. Click OK
13. Click Save Zone File
14. Click OK

Congratulations! Your CNAME record is now configured to point to LaunchRock.

To redirect your base domain edit your Wild West Domains A Record

Once you've modified your A records, it may take up to 72 hours for changes to update live.
