Well to be very frank with you, my productivity challenges are same as most people in the business world, for instance, more outputs for fewer or the same inputs, better value for customers at a competitive price, more efficient procurement of resources, increased standardization etc. For me productivity is important for it gives me a sense of achievement and success. As Henry Wadsworth Longfellow puts it, “Each morning sees some task begun, each evening sees it close; Something attempted, something done, has earned a night’s repose.”
