As a television anchor, you would have reached people – I imagine – partly through "stage presence", personal charisma, presentation and delivery. Some of those personal qualities and skills may be lost online, where text and static images dominate.

However, many online platforms lead to in-person, offline interactions. The reverse is also true, since many projects depend on offline evangelists to funnel visitors to the website.

Video or voiceover might also be an option.

This isn't to say, of course, that your only talents are those I've mentioned. But they're certainly among your talents; so why not find a way to incorporate them?
